Transportation Costs

Transportation costs include the cost of freight, postage, common carrier, and all charges related to the transportation of goods or people in the performance of the duties. These charges, unless specifically identified with an unallowable activity are allowable.
The treatment of transportation costs as they relate to the shipment of goods, is commonly referred to as FOB - Origin, FOB - Destination.
