Executive Branch

The Executive Branch of the US Government is composed of the President, Vice President, and all the cabinet members. There are 14 Cabinet positions. The President is responsible for appointing the cabinet. About 50 independent agencies are attached to this branch.

The President is allowed to pass or veto a bill that the legislature sends him. The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution states that no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.
