Exceptions to the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)

There are four (4) exceptions to TINA. Where TINA does not apply. They are:

1. Price based on adequate price competition. See Adequate Price Competition

2. Prices set by law or regulation.

3. Commercial Item Acquisition.

4. Waivers by the Head of a Procuring Activity.
