Purpose

The Contract Bookings and Backlog (Backlog) policy establishes guidelines in the management of the quarterly Backlog disclosure.

Definitions

Backlog - shall mean the estimated remaining future revenues from existing signed contracts, assuming the exercise of all options relating to such contracts.

Funded Backlog - means the portion of backlog for which funding currently is appropriated and allocated to the contract by the purchasing agency or otherwise authorized for payment by the customer upon completion of a specified portion of work.

Policy

It is the policy of GovC to record and report timely Contract Revenue Backlog. Amounts shall be determined to be amounts which have reasonable assurance that future revenue will be recorded on the company’s books.

Responsibilities

Chief Financial Officer

• Review and Approval of Backlog package

Corporate Controller

• Review of Backlog package

Accounting

• Initiate quarter-end and year-end Backlog process • Coordinate with Business Operations Directors • Distribute draft Backlog report to Business Operations Directors

Business Units

• Coordinate preparation of Backlog • Detailed review of each contract to confirm Backlog reported is correct
