Selling to the US Government requires an understanding of these laws and regulations both from a compliance perspective, and business perspective.  I learned early in my career, some 35+ years ago, it is not possible for anyone to retain all the details of every aspect of US Government Procurement, and in order to be effective, a resource or database of vast information would need to be available.  This site captures all topics and issues I have learned over the years and is available to the public.

Why use GovCwiki, when you can do your own research, googling and getting various information to assist in your research project.  The internet is a powerful source, and in most cases get a researcher the information he/she needs.  However, the internet as a research tool has limitations.

Due to the quantities of data available and degrees of accuracy and quality, getting to accurate information, or drawing conclusions from the vast array of information can be challenging.  GovCwiki pulls all the information together on a single site, that allows anyone to contribute, and anyone to correct inaccurate information.  Because of the ability for collaboration on GovCwiki, an article to be compiled, re-compiled, edited, refined, countless times, until the information is of impeccable quality.  That is not to say it is impeccable when it is first produced, but once an inaccuracy is discovered, it can be easily corrected.

GovCwiki, is a resource and knowledge source to help navigate the numerous Government Regulations and guide individuals through US Government Compliance requirements such as Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) requirements.
The internet also can be problematic in terms of relevance.  Users researching a project may spend hours pouring over documents trying to find a document that is directly and entirely relevant to the information being sought.  GovCwiki sole purpose is to provide relevant information, easy to navigate to, providing individuals with a quick resource.

A Category, is the highest level grouping.  It may or may not contain pages.  A subcategory is the next level down, and will contain pages, as this is the lowest level.  In navigating this site, start with the Category, look at the pages within the Category, and also look to see if there are subcategories.

The idea is this.  You start with a broad topic (Category), then look at pages and subcategories with that main Category, and filter through, until you find the topic that interest you.

How To Navigate This Site - Categories, Subcategories, and Pages

The site is organized by Categories, Sub-Categories, and pages. A Category, is the highest level grouping. It may or may not contain pages. A subcategory is the next level down, and will contain pages, as this is the lowest level. In navigating this site, start with the Category, look at the pages within the Category, and also look to see if there are subcategories.
